Academic Homecoming

As used in the Hawaiian Islands, "Hang Loose or "Shaka" is used as a non-verbal expression or greeting to tell the recipient that everything will be OK. It is a symbol to express friendship, gratitude, goodwill, encouragement and unity. This is our theme for the month of April. As we move into “Testing Month,” things get tense and stressful. We’re going to hang loose, encourage each other, and be united throughout testing. Shaka!! To help ease the stress we are also having an Academic Homecoming this week. We will have dress up days all week as well as an Academic Pep Rally to get everyone ready to rock this EOC!
