Schools will open two hours late on Nov. 15

The Cheatham County School District will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Nov. 15 due to the possibility of inclement weather.

Twenty-six Cheatham County students receive scholarships

Twenty-six Cheatham County high school students have received college scholarships from the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. A total of $644,000 is being awarded to students from more than 96 scholarship funds within The Community Foundation. The Community Foundation’s scholarship committee considers applicants’ academic records, test scores, extracurricular activities, work experience, community involvement, and recommendations.
